Sexuality Guide
Sexuality is completely separate from gender. Sexuality is who you are attracted to, while gender is who you are.
ASEXUAL
ACE for short. Someone who has a complete or partial lack of sexual attraction, or lack of interest in sexual activities with others. Asexuality exists on a spectrum, and asexual people may experience no, little or conditional sexual attraction.
BISEXUAL
A person who is sexually, romantically and/or emotionally attracted to more
than one gender, sex or gender identity. A bisexual person may have a preference about which gender they are attracted to or different preferences to different degrees.
DEMISEXUAL
On the Asexuality spectrum - Somebody who only feels sexual attraction to people they have a strong emotional bond with.
HOMOSEXUAL
A person who is romantically and/or sexually attracted to someone of the same gender.
HETEROSEXUAL
A person who is attracted to someone of a different gender
LESBIAN
A person who is attracted to someone of a different gender
METROSEXUAL
A man who spends longer on his appearance than stereotypes of men suggest (although people of many genders can identify as metro too).
MONOGAMY
Remaining faithful to one romantic or sexual partner at a time.
MONOSEXUAL
Somebody who has a romantic or sexual attraction for only one gender.
For example: homosexuality or heterosexuality.
PANSEXUAL
A person who is sexually, romantically and/or emotionally attracted to a
person regardless of gender.
POLYAMORY
A person in a relationship who has the freedom to be in a relationship with
another person at the same time.
